MBOTE MAMAN serves women, mothers, girls, and families in the DR Congo, specifically near Kinshasa and Maluku. We are committed to building a future where your dignity and safety come first as we work together to create lasting positive change.
How our story began here
Our organization grew from the powerful belief that no woman should ever have to stand alone. During vulnerable times like pregnancy and childbirth, many women in Congo lack essential care. MBOTE MAMAN was founded by Denise Kabena Chakupewa, whose background in healthcare and social commitment drives our mission to ensure you receive the support you deserve while navigating these life-changing experiences.

Denise Kabena Chakupewa
Guided by her medical expertise and a vision for a just society, Denise works daily to strengthen the independence of women in the Congo. Her heart and dedication remain the driving force behind everything we do here.
